We are located across from Planet Fitness and next to Fast Eddie’s auto repair shop just before the railroad tracks. The crossroads are Bienville Blvd (Hwy 90) and Bechtel.

How do I make an appointment?

You can inquire about appointments by calling us (228-819-2171), emailing us at hello@phoenixpllc.com, or completing our New Client Inquiry form.

If Phoenix is a good fit, our client care specialist will send you a link to register for your patient portal account and complete our new client paperwork electronically.

We are a paperless practice, so we do require that you have a current working email address to access the patient portal. All forms will need to be 100% completed before we schedule your appointment.

What insurance payors do you accept?

We are in network with the following insurance payors:

  • Blue Cross & Blue Shield
  • First Choice (Select Administrative Services, Lockard & Williams)
  • Magnolia Health/Ambetter
  • Medicaid
  • Medicare
  • Molina
  • Optum/UHC
Do you take walk-ins?

Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?

Yes! We have appointments available after 5:00 pm on weekdays and have Saturdays available. We also provide school or work excuses if needed.

 

Do you offer telehealth or online appointments?

Yes, telehealth services are available for therapy and some psychological testing, using HIPAA-secured video technology through our electronic medical record system. (Note: Audio-only/phone services will not be offered, except in rare circumstances.)

We do require that the first appointment is in person, so you have an opportunity to meet your therapist and for safety and security purposes.

 

Do you see children?

Yes! We see children ages 6 and above. We also see adults across the lifespan.

Do you prescribe medication?

We currently do not have a prescribing provider on staff but are happy to assist with referrals. Therapy and counseling are designed to explore the root of the issue, dig deep into your behavior, and teach strategies to help you accomplish your personal and relational goals. Medication, if indicated, and counseling are often needed together, which greatly increases your ability to reach your mental health goals as quickly and effectively as possible.

Are there services you don’t offer?

Phoenix does not provide forensic psychological services, which center around the legal system and court. Many clients don’t realize that the service they are requesting might be under this specialty. This applies to those who:

  • are planning or anticipating legal action, 
  • are currently involved in active litigation/lawsuit, and/or 
  • are under investigation by child protective services or similar entity.

Phoenix does not provide disability-related services including (but not limited to):

  • Workers’ compensation
  • Return to work/school 
  • Personal injury
  • Medical negligence
  • Parental capacity/fitness
  • Child custody/time sharing/relocation/visitation
  • Guardianship

We also do not offer the following:

  • Complex neuropsychological evaluations
  • Emotional support animal letters
  • Moderate to advanced eating disorder treatment
  • Couples counseling
