Heather Lundy, P-LPC

Heather is a provisionally licensed professional counselor who supports individuals feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in life. She helps clients find clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose. Heather believes we aren’t meant to navigate life alone, and that healing begins through safe, genuine connection.

Heather earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix and has worked in the mental health field for over two years. She works with clients of all ages, including adults, teens, and especially children. She understands that emotional distress can be hard to express and may show up as silence, outbursts, or shutting down. Whether someone is struggling with anxiety, relationship stress, or simply feeling lost, Heather provides a supportive space where they can feel heard and start to heal. Her approach is relational and person-centered, grounded in compassion and curiosity. She believes therapy isn’t about fixing what’s “wrong,” but about reconnecting with strengths, understanding one’s story, and building tools to move forward.

Heather’s work draws on evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, interpersonal therapy, and talk therapy. Through this integrative lens, she helps clients strengthen emotional awareness, build resilience, and develop healthier coping and connection skills. Heather shares, “Therapy isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about not feeling alone as you discover your own.”

Outside of her work, Heather enjoys spending time with her blended family, which includes children from toddlers to adults (and a few grandchildren, too!). She also finds joy in caring for her many reptiles. Watching her tortoise graze, or her youngest explore the outdoors, reminds her to slow down and stay present. She brings that same grounded, calm energy to her work, believing that, as in nature, therapy provides space to pause, grow, and reconnect.
